Description

About Overwatch Mission Critical
Overwatch is a service-disabled Veteran-owned small business (SDVOB) certified through the National Veterans Business Development Council (NVBDC), offering construction professional services, talent acquisition, and general contractor services for the mission-critical infrastructure industry. Our mission is the construction and management of state-of-the-art data centers with the precision and reliability this industry demands.

The Opportunity

Overwatch Mission Critical is seeking a relentless, entrepreneurial Podcast Producer to own guest acquisition, editorial strategy, operations, and audience growth across two flagship podcasts.

This is not a traditional production or editing role. We need a driven talent hunter, relationship builder, and growth strategist who can secure influential guests, identify compelling conversations, and build two recognized media platforms.

You will own both shows from guest acquisition through distribution, supported by dedicated video production, editing, and social media teams. Your job is to drive the strategy, coordinate execution, and deliver measurable growth.

Our Podcasts

Data Center Revolution Podcast Hosted by CEO Kirk Offel, featuring leaders shaping data centers, AI, energy, digital infrastructure, and workforce development.

Nine Nines Podcast Co-hosted by Kirk Offel and Mike Sarraille, exploring technology, talent, leadership, high performance, and national security through conversations with executives, innovators, military leaders, and policymakers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Acquisition & Relationships (Primary Priority)
  • Aggressively identify, pursue, and secure influential guests, including industry executives, innovators, military leaders, policymakers, elected officials, and leading subject matter experts.
  • Build and maintain a strong, forward-looking guest pipeline across both podcasts.
  • Leverage creative outreach, networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships to access high-profile guests.
  • Own the end-to-end guest journey, from research and initial outreach through booking, preparation, recording, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Deliver a world-class, white-glove guest experience that drives referrals, repeat appearances, and lasting relationships.

2. Show Strategy & Operations
  • Own editorial calendars, episode pipelines, guest scheduling, and publishing timelines for both shows.
  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in AI, data centers, energy, leadership, workforce development, technology, and national security.
  • Work with hosts to develop compelling topics, interview angles, research briefs, and guest preparation.
  • Coordinate with production, editing, and social media teams to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
  • Maintain guest databases, production workflows, and operational accountability.
  • You own the production process and outcomes, not the technical filming or editing.

3. Audience Growth & Distribution
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow audiences across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
  • Partner with marketing, production, and social media teams to maximize episode reach, engagement, and distribution.
  • Identify compelling clips, promotional angles, guest amplification opportunities, and strategic media partnerships.
  • Use audience analytics to optimize guest selection, content strategy, promotion, and platform growth.
  • Success is measured by audience growth and influence, not simply publishing episodes.

4. Performance & Accountability
  • Establish measurable growth goals and track subscribers, views, downloads, engagement, retention, and guest pipeline performance.
  • Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to the hosts and leadership.
  • Continuously improve guest acquisition, show operations, and distribution strategies.

Qualifications:

Required
  • 5+ years in podcast show running, executive production, talent booking, digital media, or audience development.
  • Demonstrated success growing a podcast, YouTube channel, or digital media platform, supported by measurable results.
  • Proven ability to identify, pitch, secure, and manage high-profile guests.
  • Strong editorial instincts, executive-level communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of podcast distribution, YouTube growth, audience analytics, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to independently manage two shows and coordinate multiple creative teams.

Preferred
  • Established network of business executives, technology leaders, policymakers, military leaders, or media personalities.
  • Familiarity with AI, data centers, energy, national security, leadership, or B2B technology.
  • Experience launching or scaling a successful podcast or digital media brand.
  • Military or veteran community experience is a plus.

What Success Looks Like:

First 90 Days: Establish a disciplined operating rhythm for both shows, build a strong pipeline of influential guests, elevate the guest experience, and implement a measurable audience-growth strategy.

First Year: Consistently secure exceptional guests, deliver compelling conversations, expand audience reach, and establish both shows as influential platforms within their respective industries.

You will be evaluated on the caliber of guests you secure, the experience you deliver, execution consistency, and the audience growth you create.

Why This Role Matters:

Position the platform at the intersection of AI, digital infrastructure, energy, national security, talent, and leadership. These podcasts give you direct access to the people shaping those industries and the chance to build two influential media platforms.

If you need to be told whom to pursue, what trends to watch, or how to move the needle, this is probably not your role. If you are already thinking about the next ten guests we should secure and how to make both shows impossible to ignore, we want to talk.

Benefits:
Overwatch Construction offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and relocation assistance available.

OVERWATCH is committed to creating a diverse work environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. OVERWATCH considers candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status.
