About the Role
We're a pre-seed AI-powered talent acquisition startup on a mission to revolutionize how people find roles at startups — replacing lengthy application processes with direct, personalized introductions to founders and hiring managers. As our Founding Frontend Engineer, you'll be the first full-time engineering hire on the frontend, working closely with the founding team to shape the product from the ground up.
What You'll Do
Own and lead all frontend development, setting architecture patterns and engineering standards early.
Build intuitive, polished consumer-facing interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience.
Collaborate directly with design (Figma) and product to translate ideas into high-quality, production-ready UI.
Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to move fast and ship reliably.
Contribute to product decisions — your voice will matter in shaping the roadmap.
Help grow and eventually mentor a frontend team as the company scales.
What We're Looking For
Required:
3–5 years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on B2C / consumer products.
Proven experience building and shipping user-facing features at B2C companies.
Proficiency with Figma for design collaboration.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, or similar).
Authorized to work in the United States — no visa sponsorship available.
Nice to Have:
Experience in early-stage startups or founding engineering teams.
Willingness to be on-site or relocate to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York City as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €55,000 – €65,000 annually
Founding team equity and meaningful ownership in a fast-growing company.
Direct impact on product strategy and company direction from day one.
Location
Hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA. Occasional travel to Los Angeles or New York City may be required. No visa sponsorship is available — candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
