Role

Samaya AI is building the first Expert Intelligence platform for Financial Services. Our users create teams of AI agents that supercharge financial research, discovery and analysis. We’re a high-growth, world-class AI team seeing incredible product traction with leading financial institutions.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious seller ready to step fully into enterprise ownership. You'll join our GTM team early, when there's no playbook yet — and that's the point. You'll build it: defining how we sell, identifying new opportunities, and closing high-value deals with the most sophisticated financial institutions in the world. For the first 18 months the mandate is clear — drive revenue and build the business — with real room to grow from there. You'll thrive here if you're energized by ambiguity and want to own outcomes, not inherit process.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle - lead end-to-end, from lead generation and pipeline build through demo, negotiation, and close
  • Build the playbook - define how we sell into financial institutions, codifying what works as you go rather than inheriting a process
  • Sell to senior buyers - engage and influence decision-makers from portfolio managers to C-suite, holding your own as the technical voice in the room
  • Run high-impact demos - demonstrate Samaya's capabilities credibly to technical and commercial audiences
  • Expand accounts - strengthen and grow relationships with existing accounts alongside landing new logos
  • Partner cross-functionally - work closely with Product and AI teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes
  • Bring market insight - feed customer needs, competitive positioning, and industry trends back to sharpen GTM strategy and the product roadmap

Experience

Required

  • Financial services background - you've worked in or sold to hedge funds, banks, or asset managers, and understand their world and pain points firsthand
  • Enterprise sales track record - 5+ years in B2B software sales carrying enterprise or large mid-market deals, ready to own the enterprise motion end to end
  • Genuine AI enthusiasm - you actively use AI in your work and life and are energized to sell at the frontier, not just comfortable with it
  • Gravitas to sell senior - consultative, credible, and able to hold your own as the technical voice in the room
  • Consistent overperformance - a history of exceeding targets and contributing to a winning, high-performance culture
  • Builder's instinct - takes full ownership, moves fast, and is energized rather than thrown by things changing quickly
  • Clear communication - articulates complex ideas simply and compellingly in demos, pitches, and writing
  • Data-driven - uses data and market insight to guide strategy and manage pipeline

Preferred

  • High-growth startup experience - you've sold at an early or scaling startup and know how to operate without a safety net
  • AI-native or technical product exposure - experience selling AI, data, analytics, or similarly technical products to enterprise buyers
  • Stepping up into enterprise - a strong mid-market or commercial seller leveling into enterprise is welcome, provided the finance buyer knowledge and ambition are there

Compensation

On Target Earnings (OTE): $280K-$360K range based on experience (50/50 split - base/variable).

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

In addition to the base salary, you'll receive a generous commission plan with unlimited earning potential. Equity may also be considered as part of the overall compensation package.
