About Arva
Arva is building the world's leading agentic AI solution for financial crime compliance operations.
Backed by Google and Y Combinator, we are revolutionizing how banks and fintechs conduct compliance. Our robust AI Agents automate manual human review tasks across Screening, AML, KYC, and fraud, driving operational efficiency and helping financial institutions cut costs by up to 85%.
Founded by experts in financial crime prevention and AI, our team brings deep expertise from major banks, regulatory bodies, and technology firms. We are a rapidly growing company with offices in New York City and London.
We are now looking to accelerate our momentum by expanding our founding sales team. That's where you come in.
About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be the engine of Arva’s revenue growth. You will focus on winning mid-sized banks, credit unions, and high-growth fintechs — organizations that are feeling the most pain from manual compliance processes. You will report to the Head of Sales and work in a fast-paced, high-activity environment where you own the entire sales cycle from discovery to close.
Location: This role is based in New York City.
What You’ll Do
- Full-cycle ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales process for enterprise accounts, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- High-velocity pipeline: Navigate 3–6 month deal cycles, managing a high volume of opportunities simultaneously without losing momentum.
- Consultative selling: Become a subject matter expert in Financial Crime (AML, KYC, Fraud) to challenge prospect assumptions and position Arva as a "must-have" rather than a "nice-to-have."
- Strategic prospecting: Partner with BDRs to build a "gold standard" outbound engine while also generating your own high-quality leads through targeted outreach.
- Sales methodology: Apply MEDDICC or Challenger frameworks to qualify deals rigorously, ensuring your forecast is accurate and your time is spent on winnable business.
- Collaborative closing: Lead technical deep-dives with Solutions Engineers and coordinate with Legal/Compliance teams to navigate mid-market procurement hurdles.
About You
- Track record: You have 3 – 5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years specifically in a Enterprise or "Commercial" AE role. You have a proven history of hitting 100%+ of your quota.
- Winning mentality: You are a proactive "hunter" who thrives on collaborating with BDRs to build a high-quablity pipeline while maintaining a relentless focus on closing and exceeding quarterly quotas.
- Fintech/RegTech experience: You have experience selling into financial services, risk, or compliance functions. You understand the language of Compliance Officers and Risk Leads.
- Executive presence: You can command a room of C-level executives at a mid-sized bank, translating complex AI concepts into clear business ROI.
- Tooling pro: You are proficient with GTM tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Adaptability: You thrive in the start up environment — you’re comfortable with ambiguity and eager to help refine our sales playbooks as we grow.
Ideal, But Not Required
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup (Series A - Series C).
- Deep knowledge of AI/ML applications in regulated industries.
- A pre-existing network within the NYC fintech or banking ecosystem.
Our Offer
- Competitive Compensation: Strong base salary, uncapped commission structure, and meaningful equity.
- Career Acceleration: As an early member of the enterprise team, you have a direct path to Senior AE or Sales Leadership roles.
- Top-Tier Environment: Work in a high-intensity, collaborative NYC office alongside experts from Google, YC, and global finance.
- Impact: You are selling a product that literally stops financial crime and saves companies millions of dollars.
Our Operating Principles
Relentless Urgency — We move fast and decisively, focusing on delivering real outcomes instead of waiting for perfect conditions.
Excellence in Everything — We hold a high bar in every detail that matters, from product quality to how we communicate and support customers, even when no one is watching.
Proactive Ownership — We take initiative without waiting to be asked, communicate early and clearly, are always curious, and continuously improve what we build and how we work.
Zoom Out, Then In — We start from the bigger picture, pick the highest-leverage move, then execute with focus.
Our Commitment to Diversity
We're eager to meet talented, driven candidates regardless of whether they check every box. We value what you'll add to our culture, not just whether you fit into it. We strongly encourage individuals from groups traditionally underrepresented in tech and financial services to apply.
We are an equal opportunity employer and committed to non-discrimination based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability, genetic information, or other applicable legally protected characteristics.
