About the Role
Join a small product engineering team at an early-stage energy technology company. You will work closely with customers and own end-to-end engineering work on energy retail challenges, turning complex operational needs into intuitive, production-ready products.
What You'll Do
Work directly with customers to understand their problems and guide product and engineering decisions.
Build and ship full-stack features from discovery through production.
Use AI-native development tools to accelerate delivery and improve your impact.
Take ownership of zero-to-one projects, including customer billing and portal experiences.
Prioritize initiatives, decide what to build, and stop work that is not delivering value.
Address energy retail needs such as procurement, customer retention, and cost optimization.
Help shape engineering culture, tools, and processes, and support team growth.
What We're Looking For
Typically 2 to 13 years of experience, with evidence of exceptional technical ability through shipped products, founding work, research, competitions, or comparable accomplishments.
Strong full-stack skills and experience delivering products end to end, from discovery to production.
Comfort using AI-native coding tools as part of your development workflow.
Fluent German at C1 level or above.
A degree from a strong university and experience at an early-stage startup are valued.
Experience or strong interest in energy retail, including billing, procurement, retention, or cost optimization.
High ownership, sound judgment, and comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary: EUR 80,000 to EUR 120,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany, normally five days per week.
