About the Role
Join a small product engineering team building AI tools for business users. You will combine product thinking with full-stack engineering to create features that are easy to discover, understand, and use without explanation.
What You'll Do
Build new AI interaction patterns and user experiences where established best practices may not exist.
Partner closely with a product designer to shape features from early concepts through production.
Own the complete experience of features, including information architecture, user flows, copy, and error states.
Validate that solutions address real user problems and are intuitive in day-to-day workflows.
Improve details such as spacing, loading states, and microcopy, and follow up on features after launch.
Share your reasoning, surface trade-offs, and ask questions that help strengthen the engineering team.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of full-stack engineering experience building and shipping production features end-to-end.
Strong experience with React and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, and frontend performance.
Experience building server-side logic, data models, database queries, and API contracts. The stack includes PostgreSQL, tRPC, Electron, Kubernetes, and Docker.
A track record of owning user experience beyond implementation, with attention to usability, discoverability, and interface details.
Experience working closely with product designers and following shipped features through after launch.
Familiarity with building AI or machine learning features in production and using AI coding tools while understanding the code they generate.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range is €60,000 to €90,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Location
This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.
