About the Role
Join an early-stage engineering team building AI-powered tools for the freight and logistics industry. In this customer-facing role, you will work closely with operations teams to understand complex workflows and turn their needs into reliable production software.
What You'll Do
Partner with logistics teams to understand their workflows and translate requirements into system designs.
Build AI-powered full-stack tools using Node.js and TypeScript.
Integrate with enterprise systems, APIs, event queues, and file transfer systems.
Build reliable data pipelines that handle messy information from multiple sources.
Help shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
Own work from design through deployment, iterate based on feedback, and travel regularly to customer sites in Europe and Asia.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, with React or another modern frontend framework as a plus.
Experience designing APIs, integrating external and enterprise systems, and building data pipelines.
Experience building and maintaining backend infrastructure, and working with tools such as Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
Clear communication skills and experience working directly with customers or end users.
Interest or experience in logistics, supply chain, AI/LLM architectures, or early-stage environments is beneficial.
Willingness to work hybrid from Berlin and travel regularly to customer sites.
