About the Role
As a member of the Product Operations team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling the operational backbone of Glean’s product development while helping foster a thriving, connected Product team community. Reporting to the Head of Product Ops, you will be a force multiplier for our high-growth SaaS product organization, blending strategic thinking with hands-on execution and relentless curiosity. You thrive in navigating ambiguity, building scalable processes, and championing data-driven decisions that deliver value for our customers and teams — and you think AI first!
You will:
- Design the operating rhythm. Build the roadmap cadence, launch reviews, and
feedback loops that keep product teams aligned. Ensuring they are lightweight enough
that they don't tax the rest of the org. - Drive cross-functional alignment. Operates at the intersection of R&D, GTM, and
PMM. Unblock decisions and get teams moving without owning them. - Run programs to completion. Take messy, cross-functional work and push it across
the line. Adapt fast when priorities shift. - Close the voice-of-customer loop. Turn support tickets, sales calls, and usage signals
into prioritized, actionable product insight. - Own the written record. Document decisions clearly, communicate at the right altitude
for the audience, and own the narrative around how the product org works.
About you:
- 5-8+ years in Product Ops, TPM, or PM with strong discovery and analytics skills in a B2B or B2B2C environment, working with enterprise customers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- Systems thinking. You see the whole workflow and design processes that scale without
bureaucracy. - Influence without authority. You align people by being useful and credible, not by
holding a title over them. - Program management rigor. You keep many threads moving and know what "done"
looks like. - Comfort with ambiguity and speed. You tolerate incomplete information and have the
judgment to make reversible decisions quickly rather than wait for certainty. - Sharp writing. You can compress a complex decision into a clear doc that people
actually read. - Hands on experience with AI technologies and a demonstrated interest in applying AI-first thinking to product and operational challenges.
- Fluency with product analytics (e.g., funnels, retention, segmentation) and qualitative research methods.
- Hands-on experience and technical aptitude to use and consult on Jira usage for teams and portfolio.
- Experience with SQL or similar data tools for self-serve analytics strongly preferred.
Location:
This role is hybrid (4 days a week in our Mountain View or San Francisco offices)
Compensation & Benefits:
The standard base salary range for this position is $198,000 - $235,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation, equity, and benefits.
