About the role
As an Enterprise Account Executive based in Seoul, you’ll drive adoption of safe, frontier AI technology across Korea’s manufacturing industry — semiconductors and electronics, automotive and mobility, batteries, shipbuilding and heavy industry, and steel and chemicals. You’ll own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, working with senior leaders to help them modernize R&D and engineering, production and quality, supply chain, and corporate functions with Anthropic’s AI solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Own and exceed revenue targets by winning new accounts and expanding relationships across Korea’s manufacturing companies
- Build and execute territory plans, identifying opportunities across semiconductors and electronics, automotive and mobility, batteries and energy, shipbuilding and heavy industry, and materials and chemicals
- Lead consultative sales processes with senior stakeholders — including heads of digital/AI transformation (DX/AX), R&D and engineering leaders, manufacturing and quality executives, CIOs/CISOs, and business-line executives
- Navigate Korea’s manufacturing technology environment, including industrial technology and National Core Technology protection requirements, trade secret and IP safeguards, export control considerations, and strict information security review
- Work across group structures, including holding companies, affiliates, and group IT service companies that shape technology procurement and deployment
- Work with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Applied AI, Partnerships, Legal) to tailor solutions that meet manufacturing-sector security and IP protection standards
- Stay informed on trends shaping Korean manufacturing, including AI in engineering and design, smart factory and autonomous manufacturing initiatives, and supply chain resilience
Preferred qualifications
- 8+ years of enterprise sales experience in Korea, with significant exposure to manufacturing
- A genuine understanding of how Korean manufacturers make technology decisions, including the role of group-level governance, IT affiliates, information security functions, and R&D leadership
- Direct experience navigating security and IP protection reviews in manufacturing environments, including requirements tied to protected industrial technology and restricted data environments
- A track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles typical of large manufacturers, including group-wide rollouts and rigorous security review
- Proven experience exceeding revenue targets within manufacturing accounts
