Senior Integrations Engineer

About the Role

This is a senior individual contributor role on a small integrations team at a Series A cold-chain risk-management platform serving pharma and perishables logistics. You will design and own the data-heavy distributed systems that ingest multi-vendor IoT monitoring data, contextualize it in real time, and power shipment-risk quantification and OTIF prediction workflows. Your work directly protects high-value shipments, so reliability and scale are non-negotiable.

What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services powering a logistics orchestration and decision-intelligence platform.

• Own end-to-end partner data flows, from multi-vendor ingestion and normalization through warehousing, observability, and on-call support.

• Build and maintain production data pipelines that handle IoT sensor data, partner APIs, webhooks, queues, and carrier integrations.

• Develop predictive systems for on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance and automate exception-handling workflows.

• Operate independently and collaborate closely with leadership to ship high-leverage features quickly in a growth-stage environment.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years building production data pipelines, with 5+ years of backend engineering on scalable distributed systems.

• Hands-on proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js; strong Java experience is a plus.

• Production experience with multi-vendor data ingest, config-driven transforms, partner APIs, and IoT or regulated healthcare data.

• Solid SQL skills and relational data modeling depth; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a bonus.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and deploying services on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong API design skills across REST and/or gRPC.

• Demonstrated software engineering discipline: testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.

• Primary background in external partner-facing operational data integrations, not internal platform, DevOps-only, or general full-stack work.

• Domain knowledge in logistics, cold chain, supply chain, or IoT is a meaningful plus.

• Genuine interest in operating at a small, fast-moving Series A team alongside a structured engineering background.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary $130,000 to $160,000 USD annually, plus equity and a cash bonus. Visa sponsorship is available.
