At Krea, we are building next-generation AI creative tools.

We're dedicated to making AI intuitive and controllable for creatives - our mission is to build tools that empower human creativity, not replace it. We believe AI is a new medium that allows us to express ourselves through various formats - text, images, video, sound, and even 3D. We're building better, smarter, and more controllable tools to harness this medium. We recently took this a step forward with the launch of Krea 2, our first foundation model, built completely from scratch for aesthetic diversity and stylistic control.

We've raised over $83M and are backed by world-class investors such as a16z, Bain Capital, and Abstract. We work full-time and in-person at our waterfront office in San Francisco. We care about creativity: our team includes musicians, designers, visual artists, and engineers.

This role

We’re looking for a creative with strong taste and a background in filmmaking, design, animation, digital art, or creative technology. You’ll work closely with our Creative Director as part of Krea Studio to create content for product launches and our social channels, experiment with new AI tools, and develop original projects using Krea.

What you’ll do

• Develop concepts and produce visuals, videos, and demos for product launches and social content.

• Create original projects using Krea, from initial references and storyboards through to finished work.

• Test new models and features, and find useful ways to incorporate them into creative production.

• Work with the Creative Director to develop ideas and iterate on feedback.

• Share workflows and discoveries with the studio team.

• Give the product team feedback based on your experience using Krea.

What we’re looking for

• Someone with a strong, well-developed point of view on what good creative work looks like.

• A proven track record in your field, with a portfolio of completed projects.

• Fluency with AI creative tools, you’ve used them regularly and know your way around the space, not just Krea.

• Strong command of the production tools relevant to your discipline.

• Clear communication and experience working with creative direction and feedback.

Nice to have

• Experience producing work for product launches or brand campaigns.

• Experience combining disciplines, such as filmmaking and 3D, or design and creative coding.

• A public body of self-initiated creative work.
