About Genesis
Genesis is a physical AI research lab and full-stack robotics company building a universal robotics foundation model (one AI "brain" that can power many kinds of robots) and a horizontal robotics platform. We work in San Francisco, Paris and London and combine large-scale AI research, an in-house physics simulation engine, and real robot hardware under one roof.

The role
You'll be the person who turns our most ambitious bets into shipped results. You'll sit between researchers, hardware engineers, software engineers and leadership, across two continents, making sure everyone knows what matters, who owns it and when it lands.

What you'll do

• Drive cross-functional programs at the frontier of AI and robotics, from foundation model training to hardware–software integration, with pace and accountability

• Turn ambitious goals into lean, unambiguous roadmaps: clear deliverables, clear owners, clear timelines

• Dive into robotics hardware, software, simulation, and large-scale AI to understand trade-offs, surface uncertainties, and ask the questions others miss

• Keep Bay Area and Paris teams tightly aligned, dependencies unblocked, and risks visible early

• Build lightweight systems (roadmaps, metrics, dashboards) that keep execution focused on what matters

• Leverage AI to build automated program management workflows, so status updates, risk tracking, and reporting run themselves and the team spends its time on real decisions

What you'll bring

• 4+ years leading complex technical programs end-to-end in fast-moving environments (startup, research lab, or high-growth tech)

• Enough technical fluency to hold a real conversation with an ML researcher about a training run and with a hardware engineer about an integration test, so you can challenge an estimate, spot a hidden dependency, or flag a risk before it becomes a delay

• A track record of learning a new technical domain quickly and becoming useful in it within weeks, not months

• Crisp, direct communication that aligns researchers, engineers, and leadership

• Bias for action: many decisions can be reversed and you favor speed over endless analysis

• Ownership: you own the outcome and drive the process to get tangible results

• Experience in robotics, hardware/software integration, or research workflows

• Fluency in French
