Description

About Precision AI
Precision AI is on a mission to transform agriculture with cutting-edge drone technology. Our aerial spraying systems help farmers target weeds with surgical precision, reducing chemical use and increasing yields. We’re a fast-moving, impact-driven team looking for people who want to help build the future of farming.

Role Overview

The Growth & Product Marketing Manager will be Precision AI’s first dedicated marketing hire and a key driver of our go-to-market strategy. As we work to put more AI into the hands of farmers, this person will shape how we tell our product story and turn that story into a repeatable engine for customer acquisition. You will inherit existing brand guidelines, social channels, and marketing work, and will be responsible for sharpening what is working and building what is missing, using AI to multiply what a lean team can accomplish.

You will report to our VP of Operations and work closely with our Senior Product Manager, VP of AI, and CEO. This is an individual contributor role with the opportunity to help shape the marketing function as the company grows. This person should be equally comfortable crafting product positioning, building an AI agent to research target accounts, and standing in a field talking with farmers about the problems they face.

This role is based in Calgary and will work from Precision AI’s headquarters 3 days a week. Travel will be required to meet farmers in the field and to represent Precision AI at industry conferences and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing & Messaging
  • Develop clear positioning and messaging that communicates the value of our technology to farmers and agronomists.
  • Partner with the Senior Product Manager and VP of AI to translate technical capabilities into customer-facing benefits.
  • Create product launch plans, sales enablement materials, and customer stories that support our go-to-market push.
  • Refine and extend existing brand guidelines to keep messaging consistent across every channel.

Growth & Customer Acquisition
  • Build and execute an acquisition strategy across digital, events, partnerships, and direct outreach.
  • Define target segments and build high-quality lists within a focused addressable market.
  • Launch and test campaigns, then scale the channels that drive qualified pipeline.

Marketing Operations & AI Enablement
  • Own the CRM end to end, including its architecture, data model, integrations, and lead lifecycle.
  • Establish reporting on pipeline, conversion, and channel performance to guide investment decisions.
  • Design, build, and orchestrate AI agents and workflows that scale research, list building, content, and campaign execution.
  • Build human-in-the-loop review into AI workflows to protect accuracy, quality, and brand voice.

Field & Industry Presence
  • Meet farmers in the field to gather customer insights and capture content.
  • Represent Precision AI at conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Bring customer feedback back to Product and leadership to inform the roadmap.

Relevant Experience

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on growth and/or product marketing in SaaS or technology companies.
  • Proven track record developing product positioning and messaging that drives customer adoption.
  • Experience building and executing acquisition strategies that generate measurable pipeline in a B2B environment.
  • Experience owning a CRM end to end, including designing its architecture, data structure, and integrations, and using it for list building, segmentation, and campaign reporting.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency beyond everyday tool use, including hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or automated workflows in a marketing or business context.
  • Sound judgment on where AI can act autonomously and where human-in-the-loop review is essential, with a track record of orchestrating AI to deliver measurable results.
  • Comfortable owning both strategy and hands-on execution in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to work closely with technical, product, and executive teams.

Bonus

  • Experience in agriculture, agtech, or marketing to farmers and growers.
  • Experience marketing hardware-enabled, robotics, or drone products.
  • Previous experience as the first marketing hire at a venture-backed startup.
  • Familiarity with agricultural trade shows, dealer networks, or channel partnerships.

Not Sure You Meet Every Requirement?
Research shows that some candidates, especially women, underrepresented groups, and career changers, are less likely to apply for a role unless they meet 100% of the listed qualifications. At Precision AI, we believe the right person can grow into the role, and we value potential as much as experience. If you’re excited about our mission and think you could contribute, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t check every single box.

Equal Employment Opportunity
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other status protected by law.
