As a Technical Product Manager II, you will drive Nimble’s Cloud Logistics products forward - primarily our software which powers the warehouse operations team. This includes our in-house WMS, built to run Nimble's robotic fulfillment warehouses, where general-purpose superhumanoid robots handle storage, picking, packing, and sorting. You’ll be working on problems related to inventory tracking, order management, inbound receiving, pick/pack/sort task optimization, warehouse throughput optimization, robotic fulfillment system integration, etc. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including warehouse operations team, customer success, engineering, QA, and leadership to define product requirements and user stories for  innovative and scalable solutions. Nimble embraces the use of AI coding agents (i.e. Claude Code) so non-engineers can contribute directly to the product. You will also test your product’s features to make sure initial go live succeeds.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Work with customer success, engineering, QA, leadership, operations team, and business operations team to gather and evaluate business, operations and integration requirements
• Data Analysis: Analyze data and define metrics (KPIs) to study the expected impact of your features vs the actual outcome. Iterate on these insights to drive your roadmap
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept, design, testing and deployment to ensure company and self-defined KPIs are evaluated correctly
• Performance Tracking: Be a subject matter expert on warehouse applications metrics and contractual SLAs. Create reports and visualizations to proactively communicate impact.
• Communicate Product Context: Ensure the engineering team understands the importance of why we need to work on a feature. Help give them the context they need to put themselves in the shoes of the users. Ensure the engineering team understands what they need to build with clear and precise detail
• Feature Testing: Design and organize comprehensive test plans. Conduct end to end testing of your features and work closely with the QA team to ensure long term quality of your product
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including integration workflows, internal and external specifications, test plans, and release documentation, operational SOPs, etc.
• Training & Customer Support: Train Operations and Customer Success on owned features and provide assistance during feature launch to ensure its success
• Low Fidelity UI Design: Be able to construct rough mockups and designs to communicate requirements. Work closely with the UI/UX team for transforming into high fidelity designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering discipline
• 2+ years of experience as a technical product manager, solutions engineer, or engineering role
• Proven experience in designing and integrating complex software systems
• Track record of demonstrating leadership skills
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized
• Team player, customer-focused mindset
• Fast learner, strong work ethic, and high ambition to make impact
• Critical thinking about how and why software systems fail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions
• Experience with designing cloud services, web apps, and mobile apps
• Proficient in SQL
• Proficient with being able to use REST APIs

Additional Requirements

• Willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Travel to our warehouses for a week every 3-4 months to regularly keep the operations team up-to-date on the latest features you design, assist with feature launch, and shadow operations team

Compensation

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $110,000 and $135,000/year. Your exact offer may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to cash compensation, this position will also receive generous equity for this position.
