Core Engineering Focus Areas at Stack:

We welcome engineers with expertise in one or more of the following domains:

• AI Data Infrastructure & Cloud Platforms: Ingestion, curation, streaming, and visualization platforms for massive AV data pipelines and ML model training.
• Autonomy & Perception / Generative AI: Computer vision, LiDAR/camera sensor fusion, online mapping, motion planning, prediction, and deep learning models (transformers, diffusion, flow models).
• Onboard Systems Infrastructure & Embedded Software: High-performance C++ systems programming, robotics middleware, real-time operating systems (POSIX/Linux), lock-free data structures, and low-latency logging.
• Simulation & Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL): High-fidelity virtual test environments, physics-based simulator development, and automated test execution platforms.
• System Safety & Systems Engineering: Functional safety, hazard analysis, hardware-software integration, and vehicle systems validation.

What We Look For: 

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience designing, building, or deploying complex software systems in robotics, autonomous driving, aerospace, or other safety-critical / resource-constrained environments.
• A passion for tackling complex real-world challenges in AI, machine learning, and autonomous vehicle technology.
• Strong collaborative problem-solving and communication skills.
