About the Role
This is a customer-facing role at a seed-stage AI voice automation company serving SMBs across Europe. You will own the full post-sale lifecycle for a portfolio of Italian-market customers, ensuring they get real value from an AI phone assistant platform. It is a high-ownership position where your work directly drives retention, expansion, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
Own a portfolio of Italian SMB customers from onboarding through expansion and renewal.
Spend the majority of your time in calls and video meetings with customers, understanding their needs and improving their setups.
Configure and implement AI assistant workflows for medium-complexity use cases, and coordinate with developers for advanced technical setups.
Run proactive outreach based on usage signals, including low engagement, expansion opportunities, and setup friction.
Identify churn risks early and take targeted action to retain at-risk accounts.
Surface new AI use cases within existing accounts to drive expansion revenue.
Manage your activity autonomously in HubSpot, using established playbooks while testing and iterating on your own initiatives.
What We're Looking For
2 to 5 years in Customer Success, Account Management, Forward Deployment Engineering, or a technical client-facing SaaS or B2B role.
Comfortable reading API documentation and error logs to troubleshoot customer setup issues independently.
Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Proficiency with HubSpot CRM for managing customer activity and data-driven workflows.
Proven experience managing the full customer lifecycle, including onboarding, expansion, retention, and churn prevention, for SMB or mid-market accounts.
Native or C2-level Italian and strong English proficiency.
Genuine interest in AI and conversational AI products.
Structured, autonomous, and results-driven, you take initiative, test ideas, and iterate without waiting to be directed.
Experience working alongside developer teams on technical implementations and escalations is a plus.
Willing to relocate to Vienna for an initial 1 to 2 month onboarding period before being based in Barcelona.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 60,000 to 80,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, with an initial onboarding period in Vienna, Austria.
