Finance Analyst

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team and assist with supporting the finance & accounting department by managing the revenue recognition process (Operational and Analysis).  The finance analyst would be a key employee in the team who will contribute to the overall operation of the department. The ideal candidate will take ownership of billing, collections, and client financial relations, and will drive revenue recognition process analysis while contributing to the overall operation of the accounting department. 

Functional Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for all company revenue.
• Oversee accounts receivable portfolio management, executing proactive collections while maintaining a positive client experience.
• Conduct comprehensive revenue analysis to track financial performance, taking ownership of revenue variances versus forecast and Month-over-Month (MoM), and report findings to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, specifically regarding financial, billing, and payment inquiries.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions and tools to create financial reports and presentations.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining high performance under pressure.
• Apply US GAAP and IFRS guidelines to accurately assess, analyze, and document revenue recognition. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields.
• +4 years of experience in accounting 
• Possesses meticulous attention to detail and a strong ability to execute tasks accurately.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel, including using formulas, functions, and data analysis tools.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant in Colombia (active professional license).
• Strong background in revenue recognition and financial analysis, with a deep understanding of US GAAP and IFRS standards.
