As a Sr. Opto-Mechanical Engineer in the CPO group, you will be central to these initiatives, working alongside a team committed to high standards and joint effort. This position uniquely enables you to impact the development of powerful opto-mechanical systems that empower our technology, crafting meaningful change in the world.
What you'll be doing:
Developing opto-mechanical components and systems with precision and innovation.
Conducting assembly and testing, including fabricating the essential jigs and fixtures for smooth execution.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding product development.
Leading high-reaching projects from concept through successful implementation, ensuring they meet NVIDIA’s high standards.
Lead development and collaborate with global vendors to ensure on time delivery of products.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 5 years working in the development of opto-mechanical components or systems.
Proven experience in defining and conducting tests including crafting all supporting jigs and fixtures.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse and inclusive global environment.
Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts.
Experience with CREO or Solid works 3D CAD software.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Background with fiber optics and related components
Familiarity with SiPH and CPO technologies
Proven track record of guiding projects from initial idea through to final delivery.
Knowledge of industry standards and guidelines in electronic packaging and Si processing.
Previous work in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.
