About the Role
In this role, you will create, edit, and deliver high-quality motion graphics and video content for customer-facing, marketing, social media, and product-related experiences. You will take projects from raw assets and early concepts through final production, using motion, pacing, typography, sound, and visual storytelling to create polished and engaging content.
You will collaborate with product, design, marketing, and business stakeholders while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced production environment. This role combines hands-on creative execution with strong production discipline, requiring careful management of timelines, revisions, assets, versions, and final deliverables.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality motion graphics, animations, video edits, and visual treatments for customer-facing, marketing, social, and digital content.
- Translate product narratives, original design files, and raw assets into compelling motion and video experiences.
- Edit raw footage, screen captures, product demos, animations, and other visual assets into polished finished videos.
- Apply transitions, typography, motion effects, sound synchronization, color adjustments, and other post-production treatments.
- Refine pacing, clarity, composition, visual hierarchy, and storytelling to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of content.
- Use and update product assets, UI designs, and prototypes to create accurate video captures and motion sequences.
- Prepare video deliverables for multiple formats, platforms, channels, and aspect ratios.
- Maintain consistency with established brand guidelines and design standards.
- Manage asset organization, file naming conventions, version control, production milestones, schedules, and delivery tracking.
- Track stakeholder feedback, revisions, approvals, and final outputs throughout the production lifecycle.
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, blockers, dependencies, and timeline changes.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand project goals and translate feedback into effective creative solutions.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Two to four years of professional graphic design experience focused on presentations, templates, documents, workbooks, or comparable business content.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong typography, layout, composition, color, hierarchy, and overall visual design judgment.
- Hands-on experience designing professional content in presentation, word-processing, and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong understanding of template design, presentation design, document layout, and workbook formatting.
- Experience developing reusable layouts, consistent styles, and scalable design systems.
- Proficiency with industry-standard presentation, document, and spreadsheet software.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or both.
- Demonstrated experience using AI-enabled design or productivity tools.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow established direction, and apply feedback efficiently.
- Strong visual, written, verbal, and collaborative communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects, establish milestones, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Film/Video Production, Digital Media, Studio Art/Fine Art, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional experience in motion design, video editing, or digital production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and/or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Experience with additional Adobe Creative Cloud tools, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and video-editing/productivity applications.
- Working proficiency in Figma, including navigating design files, updating product content, preparing assets, and collaborating with product designers.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, video editing, visual storytelling, and polished production execution.
- Experience creating video and motion assets for marketing, customer-facing, social, digital, or product-related content.
- Strong understanding of motion principles, typography, pacing, composition, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
- Strong organizational skills, including experience managing files, versions, timelines, milestones, and production deliverables.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Compensation
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated compensation range is $24.00 to $25.00 USD per hour. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final compensation and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications.
Location and Work Arrangement
This is a remote position for candidates located on the West Coast of the United States.
