Description

Company Overview
We are a rapidly growing technology startup focused on delivering next-generation drones for security and safety applications. Our company vertically integrates hardware and software to create leading edge capabilities in the UAV space, with a focus on saving lives.

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and deploy hardware that powers intelligent robotic UAS systems operating in real-world environments. In this role, you will work at the intersection of software, hardware, and autonomy—building robust, high-performance systems that integrate perception, planning, control, and communication.

You will collaborate closely with mechanical, software, and firmware engineers to take robotics software from simulation to fielded deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Design embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic & PCB design, board bring-up, and system level integration.

  • Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and software debugging tools.

  • Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer operated hardware.

  • Concurrently manage involvement in multiple projects at various stages.

Required Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

  • 3+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems and products.

  • Demonstrated experience designing mixed signal circuits.

  • Competence with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, current-probes, and automation of tests.

  • Exceptional organization and communication skills (both written and oral).

  • Proficient with Altium Designer or equivalent electronic design automation design tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with autonomous systems (UAVs, UGVs, mobile robots, or manipulators)

  • Experience with field testing, data logging, and performance analysis
