As a Procurement Manager, you will proactively engage with a diverse range of stakeholders across global locations — from senior leadership to operational staff —to gain a deep understanding of on-the-ground challenges, and translate those insights into more agile processes while continuously driving supplier strategy improvements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the business team to understand their needs and to define and manage a roadmap aligned with long‑term business strategies.
Lead the full RFP lifecycle, from requirements and issuance to evaluation, negotiation, award, and supplier onboarding.
Design and implement solutions that address procurement challenges and improve the customer experience.
Lead complex projects end‑to‑end, including testing, rollout, and post‑implementation reviews.
Drive automation across the procurement lifecycle using RPA and AI to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Utilize Power BI dashboards and reports to track spend and generate insights for sourcing and cost optimization.
Enhance compliance to adhere with regulations and internal policies to mitigate legal, financial, and operational risks.
Develop and deliver training to employees to strengthen negotiation, category management, and digital tool adoption.
Act as a liaison between procurement, finance, legal, and other teams to align on processes and policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Strong academic record, with a Bachelor's degree or above from university or institutions.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
Experience driving cross-functional projects.
Familiar with ERP and Procurement tools such as Oracle and SAP.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.
Excellent stakeholder management at all levels across a diverse environment.
Understanding of at least Japanese regulatory requirements related to procurement activities.
NICE TO HAVES
Experience in business process mapping and technology roadmap development.
Hands-on experience with AI and automation technologies such as RPA.
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience in change management, including the ability to influence company-wide process transformation, and design and deliver training programs.
Knowledge of procurement compliance and risk management.
Fundamental knowledge of relevant departments (e.g., Legal, Finance).
