Senior Staff Engineer, Product Software Engineering

Join our Product Software Engineering team to improve how engineers work with AI agents to build, debug, and ship software. You will identify bottlenecks in engineering workflows, introduce practical AI-first tools and practices, and help the team become significantly more productive without compromising engineering quality.

This role is hybrid, based out of Belgrade, Serbia.

• A strong software engineer with excellent engineering fundamentals, that in pre-AI era meant testing, code review, observability, documentation, maintainability, and reliable delivery.

• A clear communicator who can build trust with developers, understand their pain points, and influence change across a technical team.
• A product-minded builder who understands how to turn an ambiguous problem into a useful product, drive adoption, and take it through to 100% delivery.
• An advanced user of LLMs and AI-based engineering tools who understands how to apply them effectively in real software development workflows.

What We Need

• Hands-on experience building or introducing developer tools, automation, internal platforms, AI skills, agentic workflows, or similar productivity improvements.
• Proven record of improving development processes and delivery pipelines.
• Experience in advocating for good engineering practices in teams that ship products.

What You Will Learn

• Apply advanced LLM and agent workflows to real engineering problems, including debugging, CI analysis, code generation, and developer enablement.
• How a high-performance ML Models organization builds, optimizes, and ships software for Tenstorrent’s custom AI systems.
• Identify and remove bottlenecks across software development processes, infrastructure, GitHub workflows, and team collaboration.
• Raise the productivity and engineering quality of an entire team through better tools, practices, and feedback loops.
