Description

About the role

1,200+ law firms already run their practice on Eve. This role is about helping firms find and grow into the parts of Eve that matter most to them. You'll own growth and monetization design: trial-to-paid, usage-based pricing, upgrade moments. It's a role that sits close to the business side of the product, where design decisions directly shape revenue. We move fast, but never at the cost of building the wrong thing. We're high-autonomy and team-first — people who take initiative on their own, but still lean on the team, tend to do well here.

What you'll do

  • Shape how Eve's AI features get priced and packaged: usage tiers, seat/case limits, credits, premium features.
  • Own growth design end to end: trial-to-paid, upgrade prompts, usage visibility, expansion as firms grow.
  • Prototype using tools like Cursor or Claude Code, and stay involved as things move into engineering.
  • Run experiments on pricing and upgrade moments, and let what you learn shape the next iteration.
  • Help build how growth design works here — you'll be setting some of the early patterns.
  • Make things feel simple, even when they're not. Pricing should make sense to a paralegal and a managing partner alike.

What we're looking for

  • Relevant experience: You've designed complex, systems-heavy products, ideally with real experience in growth or monetization. B2B is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.
  • Real ownership: You're comfortable with large scope, dig in with others to find the root of a problem and think systematically.
  • A clear point of view, backed by data: You have a strong perspective and can explain your decisions. You're also curious about the story the data tells — you run experiments and let what you learn shape your thinking.
  • AI-native workflow: Using LLMs to think through and prototype ideas is already part of how you work.
  • Comfort outside a traditional design system: We're building something different — more flexible guidelines and linting than a typical component library. We want someone curious about that shift.
  • Genuine care for your teammates: You give feedback that's honest and kind, and you want the people around you to grow.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience designing AI-generated or AI-augmented product experiences
  • Background in legal tech or other regulated, document-heavy domains
  • Experience establishing growth or monetization design practices on a scaling team
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) as applied to pricing, paywall, and upgrade flows
