Senior Legal Counsel – Enterprise & Partnerships

About the Role

This is a senior legal role at a VC-backed AI/life sciences startup, sitting at the intersection of commercial growth and legal precision. You'll own enterprise SaaS and partnership contracts end-to-end, partnering directly with the commercial team to close deals fast and build the legal infrastructure to scale.

What You'll Do

• Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise SaaS contracts, partnership agreements, and related commercial deals.

• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for the commercial team and key external stakeholders, including publishers and enterprise clients.

• Ensure all agreements meet regulatory, corporate, and internal policy requirements.

• Translate complex legal and compliance requirements into clear, actionable guidance for business teams.

• Build and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks, and workflows to accelerate deal execution.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and technical teams to support smooth contract implementation.

• Support strategic initiatives focused on commercial efficiency and risk management.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience as a corporate lawyer or in-house legal counsel handling enterprise contracts, SaaS agreements, and/or partnership deals.

• Demonstrated ability to draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements independently.

• Experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments managing contract lifecycles with minimal oversight.

• Full fluency in both German and English (written and verbal) — required.

• Track record of building scalable legal frameworks, templates, and process documentation.

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across finance, operations, and technical teams.

• Comfort translating regulatory and compliance requirements into practical business guidance.

• Background in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or healthcare contracts is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with contract management software or legal tech tools is advantageous.
