GTM Engineer

About the Role

This is a founding GTM hire at an early-stage AI infrastructure company building tools for reinforcement learning environments and AI evaluation. You'll sit at the intersection of engineering and revenue, owning the full outbound pipeline and working directly with the founders to define and scale the go-to-market playbook from scratch. The role matters because the technical buyers — ML engineers, AI researchers, and engineering leaders — require a GTM approach that earns their respect.

What You'll Do

• Own the outbound pipeline end-to-end, from targeting and enrichment through outreach, follow-up, and meeting booking.

• Build and maintain GTM workflows including outbound email sequencing, CRM automation, lead scoring, and custom internal tooling.

• Aggressively leverage AI tools — automated scrapers, workflow automation, and custom tooling — to multiply output.

• Develop and continuously iterate on messaging that resonates with ML engineers, AI researchers, and engineering leaders.

• Quickly learn prospect businesses and industries to understand their pain points and workflows.

• Track pipeline metrics and optimize conversion at every stage.

• Collaborate with the founding team to refine and scale the GTM playbook as the company grows.

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated track record of building and running a GTM motion with measurable results, including closing deals.

• Strong technical foundation — CS or engineering background, or extensive hands-on coding and technical project experience.

• Proven ability to hold substantive technical conversations with ML engineers, AI researchers, and engineering leaders.

• Experience building outbound systems using tools like Clay, Apollo, or custom automation.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance GTM output at scale.

• Experience developing messaging and GTM strategies aimed at technical buyers.

• Background selling developer tools, infrastructure, or ML/AI products is a strong plus.

• Familiarity with reinforcement learning concepts — environments, evals, and benchmarks — is a plus.

• Prior early-stage startup experience and comfort operating with high autonomy.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
