Generalist Intern

About the Role

This is a 6-month generalist internship sitting across People, Finance, and Operations at an AI-native fintech company building compliance and identity infrastructure. You'll work on real, meaningful tasks from day one — touching everything from recruiting to finance ops — and be expected to own work end-to-end with minimal hand-holding.

What You'll Do

• Support recruiting efforts including sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating across active searches.

• Assist with finance operations such as expense matching, receipt tracking, and month-end close support.

• Coordinate travel logistics for the team.

• Support new joiner onboarding, including equipment setup, scheduling, and first-week coordination.

• Research and evaluate tools, vendors, and processes, then make recommendations.

• Take full ownership of assigned tasks from start to finish with minimal direction.

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a university programme (any field of study).

• Strong written communication skills in English.

• Some experience with expense tracking, receipt management, or financial operations workflows.

• Some experience with recruiting coordination, sourcing, or scheduling.

• Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and keep organisational workflows on track.

• Comfortable researching and evaluating software or vendor options independently.

• Thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and switches contexts quickly.

• Proactive by nature — you act without needing to be asked.

• Experience with travel logistics, event planning, or onboarding processes is a plus.

• Familiarity with compliance, KYC, AML, or fintech is a plus but not required.

• Based in Amsterdam or able to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Compensation & Benefits

€1,500–€2,000 per month. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
