About the Role
This is the first dedicated go-to-market hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building AI-powered software for industrial distributors and manufacturers. You'll work directly with the CEO to turn founder-led sales into a repeatable, scalable GTM motion — starting as a hands-on doer and growing into the architect of the entire GTM organization.
What You'll Do
Partner with the CEO to design and execute a full go-to-market strategy, from early pipeline generation to a systemized, repeatable playbook.
Personally drive outbound pipeline: cold calls, targeted email campaigns, trade shows, and new channel testing to reach industrial executives.
Identify what messaging, channels, and processes work — then codify them into documentation and playbooks the next ten GTM hires can run.
Build AI automations across the GTM stack, including account research, personalization, campaign execution, and sales intelligence.
Join customer calls and deeply understand how industrial distributors operate, translating those insights into acquisition strategy.
Turn repeatable processes into scalable infrastructure that grows the function without growing headcount proportionally.
What We're Looking For
1–4 years of experience generating pipeline through outbound sales activities (cold calling, email campaigns, trade shows, or events).
Demonstrated ability to build and systematize repeatable sales processes or GTM motions from the ground up.
Hands-on experience building AI automations, scripts, or small applications to increase sales productivity — you use AI to accelerate your own work.
Proficiency writing targeted outbound messaging that converts; experience with AI tools for sales automation, account research, and personalization.
Track record of learning complex B2B sales environments quickly and translating market insights into strategy.
High agency — you've started something, organized from scratch, or shipped side projects without being told to.
Clear, compelling communicator — in writing and in conversation.
Experience working with C-suite or executive stakeholders in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution sectors is a strong plus.
Technical background (engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science) or demonstrated technical depth is a bonus.
Prior experience founding a company, launching a product, or taking something from zero to market fit is a plus.
US citizenship or valid US work authorization required; visa sponsorship is not available.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $100,000 – $170,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, CA. This is a full-time, in-person role.
