Founding Engineer

About the Role

This is a first engineering hire opportunity at an early-stage agentic integration platform serving paying enterprise customers. You'll own core systems end-to-end and set the engineering patterns that every future hire will build on — working shoulder-to-shoulder with the founders to ship reliable, production-ready software.

What You'll Do

• Own the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end-to-end.

• Establish engineering patterns and standards that will guide the team as it scales.

• Collaborate directly with founders, contributing technical opinion and leadership — not just code.

• Ship to production continuously, delivering observable and reliable systems with measurable customer impact.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of software engineering experience building and shipping production systems, ideally in fast-paced startup environments.

• Demonstrated ability to take a product from 0 to 1, whether in an early-stage startup or a substantial side project.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for front-end development.

• Proficiency in Node.js for back-end development.

• Experience integrating or building workflows around large language models (LLMs) and agent-based platforms.

• Experience with AWS for cloud infrastructure and PostgreSQL for data storage and database design.

• Experience owning end-to-end feature development across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.

• Experience implementing observability, monitoring, tracing, and reliable retry/queuing patterns in distributed systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $150,000 – $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
