Description

About the Role

At ARX Robotics, you will build and develop the indirect procurement function that supports our growing organisation. You will shape sourcing strategies, lead negotiations with service and supply partners, and create procurement processes that work across multiple sites and countries.

Working closely with teams across ARX, you will bring structure, transparency, and commercial focus to categories including IT and software, facility management, energy, and external services. Your work will help the company scale responsibly while ensuring that internal teams have the partners and services they need to deliver our autonomous ground systems.

What You’ll Build

  • Sourcing strategies for indirect spend, with ownership of relevant categories such as IT and software, facility management, energy, and external services.
  • Well-run tenders and RFQs, from requirements gathering and bid evaluation through award decisions, contract negotiations, and price negotiations.
  • A reliable supplier base, including supplier selection, onboarding, development, and ongoing performance management.
  • Accurate supplier, contract, pricing, and purchasing master data.
  • Efficient day-to-day purchasing processes covering requisitions, purchase orders, order confirmations, and invoice clarifications.
  • Effective contract and recurring-service management, including renewals, notice periods, service levels, price adjustments, and operational issues.
  • Procurement policies and processes that support consistent, compliant ways of working across the organisation.
  • Practical use of e-procurement solutions, together with clear reporting on spend and supplier performance.
  • Procurement structures that can grow with ARX Robotics across sites, countries, and business units.

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience in indirect procurement, with end-to-end ownership of sourcing activities.
  • Solid knowledge of at least two relevant categories, such as IT and software, facility management, energy, or external services.
  • Experience negotiating commercial terms, prices, and contracts, as well as managing agreements throughout their lifecycle.
  • Confidence using ERP systems and e-procurement tools.
  • The ability to bring structure to complex purchasing environments and develop processes that work in practice.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work effectively across business units and with external partners.
  • A pragmatic, organised, and proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • Experience building procurement structures or processes in a growing organisation is a plus.
  • Experience in compliance-relevant or export-control-sensitive environments is welcome but not required.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
