About the Role
This is not a classic operations internship. We're looking for someone who doesn't just manage operations — but systematically automates them away. You'll own real parts of the business from day one: no slide decks, no shadow work, no coffee runs. If something is broken, you fix it. If something is manual, you eliminate it.
You'll report directly to a founder and work at the intersection of healthtech, automation, and multi-stakeholder operations in a fast-moving early-stage environment. This role starts as a 3–6 month paid internship with a clear path to convert into a full-time Operations role.
What You'll Do
Identify manual workflows across the business and build automations to replace them (using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, and Python)
Build and maintain internal ops tooling in Notion, Linear, and Airtable
Coordinate multi-stakeholder partnerships across Europe — including lab partners, phlebotomy clinics, and supplement manufacturers
Own the customer experience end-to-end: onboarding, scheduling blood draws, results delivery, and retention
Communicate directly with German-speaking clinics, partners, and customers
Spot operational gaps and take initiative to close them — with minimal hand-holding
What We're Looking For
Dealbreakers:
Native German proficiency and fluent English — mandatory for day-to-day communication with German clinics and partners
Ability to work on-site in Berlin, Monday–Friday (in-person presence required)
Eligible to work in Germany — visa sponsorship is not available
Required:
0–2 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field
Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a rigorous program (engineering, business, life sciences, or computer science)
Hands-on experience with workflow automation tools: n8n, Zapier, and/or Make
Python scripting ability for ops automation tasks
Experience building internal tooling in Notion, Linear, and/or Airtable
Experience coordinating across multiple external stakeholders (partners, vendors, suppliers)
Experience owning a customer-facing process end-to-end
Owner mindset: fast execution, comfort with ambiguity, bias toward action
Genuine enthusiasm for preventive health and longevity
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: €30,000 – €36,000 per year (pro-rated for internship duration)
Paid internship with a structured path to full-time conversion
Direct exposure to founding team and early-stage company building in healthtech
Location
Berlin, Germany — fully on-site, Monday through Friday
No remote or hybrid option for this role
Visa sponsorship is not available — candidates must already be eligible to work in Germany
