Description

About the Role

As our Expansion Manager (m/f/d), you will be a key driver of ARX Robotics' international growth. Your mission is to identify, develop, and execute market-entry strategies, establishing our footprint in new regions and building the foundation for long-term success. You will operate at the intersection of strategic business development, government relations, and hands-on operational execution.

This is a central role where you will work in close collaboration with senior leadership to turn strategy into reality. You will navigate complex defense procurement cycles, build relationships with key international partners, and lead the cross-functional efforts required to deliver our autonomous ground systems to new allies and customers.

What You'll Build

  • Execute our international growth strategy, identifying and securing new opportunities across priority regions.
  • Drive market entries, navigating government tenders, multinational defense programs, and emerging market landscapes.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, from defense ministries and armed forces to OEMs and local industry partners.
  • Lead or contribute to major international bids and programs, orchestrating the work of our cross-functional teams.
  • Transform strategic opportunities into concrete, actionable market-entry plans and guide their execution.
  • Analyze geopolitical trends and defense budgets to keep our strategic approach ahead of the curve.
  • Represent ARX Robotics at key international forums and trade shows, building our brand presence on a global stage.

What You Bring

  • A strong background in business development, sales, or program management gained within the defense, aerospace, or a related government technology industry.
  • Deep knowledge of international defense procurement, government contracting, and the complexities of cross-border business operations.
  • Proven experience managing complex bids or market-entry projects, with a talent for guiding cross-functional and intercultural teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across different cultures and organizations.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to analyze markets and create actionable growth plans.
  • A high degree of flexibility and willingness to travel extensively to support international growth.
  • Fluency in both English and German is required for this role.
  • While an industry background is essential, direct experience serving in armed forces is a valuable asset.

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
