Global Supply Chain Manager
Compensation
Salary undisclosedDescription
We’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Manager to own our end-to-end electronics components and PCB supply chain. You will be the primary partner manager and operational architect across contract manufacturers, PCB fabricators, and component manufacturers and distributors, ensuring our supply base is scalable, cost-competitive, and resilient from BOM creation to final board delivery. This role sits at the center of NPI execution, production continuity, and supplier performance, making it directly critical to product availability and revenue
This role is remote, based out of Toronto, ON.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Who You Are
- Seasoned in electronics supply chain management with hands-on experience across PCB fabrication, PCBA, component sourcing, and contract manufacturing operations.
- Comfortable managing global supplier relationships across Asia and other regions, with strong instincts for commercial negotiation and long-term partnership development.
- A structured, data-driven operator who thrives managing competing priorities across NPI timelines, production demand, and supply risk simultaneously.
- An effective cross-functional collaborator, equally at ease with Hardware Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Procurement when aligning on build readiness, cost, and delivery commitments.
What We Need
- Own global supplier relationships for PCB fabricators, electronics contract manufacturers, and component distributors, including QBRs, KPI management, and multi-year commercial negotiations.
- Partner with Hardware Engineering and NPI teams to qualify new board designs and components, coordinating prototype builds, ECO execution, and supplier readiness for production ramp.
- Align production forecasts with CM and distributor capacity, maintaining long-term supply visibility while managing short-term demand swings to prevent component shortages or excess inventory.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to single-source components, long lead-time parts, geopolitical exposure, and component obsolescence, with proactive contingency planning.
What You Will Learn
- Build deep expertise across the full electronics manufacturing stack, from bare board fabrication and SMT assembly to functional test and final shipment, and how each stage connects to product quality and delivery performance.
- Develop strategic sourcing skills across a complex global supply base, gaining hands-on experience structuring contracts, managing dual-source strategies, and navigating constrained commodity markets.
- Gain direct visibility into how supply chain decisions shape product launch timelines, cost structure, and customer outcomes, with the scope to make a measurable impact on the business from day one.
