NVIDIA Networking business unit, IC silicon product engineering department is looking for a hardworking multi-disciplinary engineer to join a highly skilled existing team in validating new high-end company products and making sure our screening at production leads to high product quality on a system-level platform. The ICPE organization is responsible for testing every new chip designed by NVIDIA Networking, and SLT provides a real-world customer-like environment including functional tests, firmware, operating system, real workloads and power profiles.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to own and drive the end-to-end technical aspects of the product’s System Level Test activities on the most advanced, cutting-edge technology network adapters, switches, and interconnect products. This includes defining the right HW/SW test setup, ramping up systems, taking an active part in chip bring-up, gathering technical validation requirements, implementing and executing tests using existing test frameworks, debugging failures, and working closely with multiple teams to make sure all technical requirements are in place for high-quality IC screening.
This position is located in Yokneam (Hybrid).
What you’ll be doing:
Take end-to-end technical ownership of SLT product activities from early kick-off phase to production readiness.
Ramp up new SLT systems, define the needed HW/SW setup, validate system readiness, and make sure the environment is stable and reproducible.
Work with cross-functional teams across global sites — Architecture, Marketing, Operations, HW, FW, SW, Data, production sites and more — to identify product coverage needs and technical validation requirements.
Gather product information from documentation, stakeholders, and hands-on bring-up activity, and translate it into practical SLT coverage and test requirements.
Develop and execute system-level test plans using existing automation and test frameworks.
Debug and improve SLT tests and flows, including test stability, logs, pass/fail criteria, and failure reproduction.
What we need to see:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, software engineering (but with strong electrical hands-on technical experience) or related technical field.
3+ years of hands-on engineering experience in complex system validation, product engineering, test engineering, silicon validation or related areas.
Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills.
Proved hands-on experience with system-level debug across HW/SW/FW boundaries.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and common debug tools.
Ability to work independently, own technical tasks end-to-end and define the right priority per task or project.
Ability to work with multiple teams, gather technical inputs and drive open issues to closure.
Team player with good communication abilities.
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with great atmosphere and teamwork.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Proven experience with silicon pre/post validation.
Experience with chip bring-up, system bring-up or lab bring-up activities.
Scripting experience in Python or similar language.
Experience with networking products, NICs, switches, DPUs/SoCs or interconnect technologies.
Experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines or validation infrastructure.
