Description

Tenstorrent is building the next generation of AI and RISC-V compute. The Corporate Development Associate works at the center of the company’s most consequential transactions and strategic decisions, partnering directly with the C-suite across M&A, fundraising, partnerships, and corporate strategy. It is a high-trust, high-autonomy role for someone who takes on responsibility quickly and operates independently from day one.

This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON; Austin, TX; or Santa Clara, CA.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • A self-starter who takes on responsibility quickly and operates independently, comfortable working directly with C-suite.
  • Strategically sharp, with the analytical rigor to frame and pressure-test high-stakes decisions.
  • Ideal candidates will have fast-paced professional environment experience (investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, strategy as examples).
  • Comfort with interfacing with senior counterparties, from investors and partners to government and industry leaders.
  • Curious about semiconductors, data centers, and AI, with the drive to go deep on both the technology and the market.

What We Need

  • Execute M&A, from sourcing and diligence through modeling, negotiation, and close.
  • Lead financial and business modeling that underpins fundraising, deals, and strategic decisions.
  • Build and manage partnerships and strategic sales across the AI, semiconductor, and data center ecosystem.
  • Prepare board-level and corporate strategy materials in close partnership with executive leadership.
  • Support fundraising and government relations, owning process and engagement with key external stakeholders.

What You Will Learn

  • How capital is raised and deals get done at a company defining the future of compute.
  • The economics and competitive dynamics of the AI hardware, semiconductor, and data center markets.
  • What it takes to operate at the center of corporate strategy alongside an exceptional executive team.
  • Direct exposure to translating complex technical and financial questions into clear decisions for leadership.
