Tenstorrent is building high-performance AI compute systems that scale from developer desktops to data centers. As a Product Manager - Hardware Systems, you’ll own our flagship data-center product line. A scalable, customizable system delivering flexible AI compute for demanding workloads without the cost or lock-in of traditional infrastructure.
Galaxy is flexible topology without the cost: open, programmable, and built to support custom configurations. You’ll define topologies, cabling, power, and orchestration strategies that make deployment efficient and scalable. You’ll work with engineers, customer success, and field teams worldwide to ensure Galaxy performs flawlessly in colos and customer data centers alike.
This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA; Austin, TX or Toronto, ON.
We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.
Who You Are
- Motivated by redefining what open, high-performance compute looks like at scale.
- A systems thinker who thrives in complexity: topology, orchestration, and deployment.
- Detail-driven, organized, and relentless about uptime and customer success.
- Hands-on enough to be in a colo during deployment, strategic enough to execute against an ambitious roadmap.
What We Need
- Proven experience shipping complex technical products, hardware, software, and firmware, and supporting them in the field across regions.
- Ability to coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, CX and sales.
- Clear, direct communication that creates alignment and cuts through noise.
- Comfort with rack-level details: configs, power, cabling, scaling.
- Willingness to travel globally for installs, deployments, and customer visits.
What You Will Learn
- Turn racks of silicon into reliable infrastructure.
- Solve the critical details: acoustics, thermals, orchestration, provisioning.
- Deliver and build a great total cost of ownership story.
- Delight global customers with an open alternative to closed systems.
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
Tenstorrent offers a highly competitive compensation package and benefits, and we are an equal opportunity employer.
