The Role

As a Commercial AE, you own the full sales cycle and win new plaintiffs law firm clients across our largest segment by addressable market value. Substantial firms with real budget, real complexity, and real appetite for AI that lets them take on more cases and recover more for their clients. You’ll run multi-stakeholder sales processes, build relationships with firm owners and managing partners, and close high-value deals consistently.

What Success Looks Like

  • First 30 days: Master our product, market, and the plaintiffs law firm buyer.
  • 60 days: Build a robust pipeline in your territory. Close your first deals.
  • 90 days: Consistently exceeding monthly targets.
  • 12 months: On track for Senior AE, Mid Market AE, or leadership for top performers.

What You’ll Do

  • Strategically prospect and create new opportunities with plaintiffs law firms in your territory.
  • Build and own your pipeline through outbound, referrals, events, and partnerships.
  • Attend industry conferences and events to meet prospects and create deals. Up to 50% travel.
  • Run discovery that uncovers real pain.
  • Deliver demos that showcase measurable ROI and business outcomes.
  • Navigate multi-stakeholder buying processes with firm owners, managing partners, COOs, and IT leadership.
  • Consistently exceed revenue targets.

Who We’re Looking For

You love the craft of selling. You compete with yourself first and your team second. You’re curious about the people you sell to and the problems they’re trying to solve. You take feedback well and look for it actively. You’ve closed net new business and have a real track record of performance you’re proud to walk through. Legal industry experience is a plus but not required.

What This Job Actually Is

  • This is a self-sourced outbound role. Inbound supplements your pipe, you build most of it.
  • You’ll talk about your pipeline, your numbers, and your process every week. We use that rhythm to stay on track and learn from each other.
  • Up to 50% travel for conferences, events, and in-person time with clients. We get a lot more done in person and it’s a real part of the job.
  • Six-figure deals are the norm. You’ll be selling to firm owners and managing partners who care about how the platform makes their firm money.

For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Eve and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
