About the Role

Join a fast-growing, bootstrapped AI platform company based in Munich building tools that enable thousands of businesses to interact with AI every day. As a Full Stack Engineer, you'll work on the core platform — shipping high-quality features, designing scalable backend systems, and helping shape how users engage with AI-powered products. This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany.

The team operates across the full stack, handling everything from synchronizing terabytes of client data and processing millions of LLM calls per month to spawning thousands of secure code sandboxes daily. You'll have real ownership and direct impact on a product used by businesses across the German-speaking market and beyond.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship high-quality full-stack features using TypeScript and React, with a focus on seamless user experience.

• Design and implement robust backend systems capable of handling massive data scale and millions of API requests.

• Take full ownership of features — from concept and deployment through ongoing operation — ensuring reliability and security.

• Debug production incidents, identify root causes, and implement lasting solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and raise the bar through thorough, constructive code reviews.

• Synchronize and index terabytes of client data while managing fine-grained permissions.

• Operate and optimize systems that process millions of LLM calls per month with high reliability.

• Architect and scale environments that spawn thousands of secure code sandboxes per day.

• Build base infrastructure that enables rapid onboarding of custom integrations.

• Collaborate with AI integrations to shape how users interact with the platform.

What We're Looking For

Must-haves:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

• Experience with Kubernetes-based deployment and container orchestration.

• Hands-on experience with Dockerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.

• Track record of delivering production-grade backend services at scale — high data volume, millions of API requests, with a focus on reliability and security.

• End-to-end feature ownership: concept → deployment → operation, including production debugging.

Strong plus:

• Experience with backend Python, tRPC, or similar technologies.

• Hands-on experience with GenAI platforms, LLM APIs, or AI-integrated developer tools.

• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading code reviews.

• Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth product environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year

• Hybrid work arrangement — Munich office with flexible remote days

Location

This is a hybrid role based in Munich, Germany. Candidates should be located in or willing to relocate to Munich. Remote-only arrangements are not offered for this position.
