Description

Scale's Generative AI business is continuing to see tremendous growth and expansion.  As an Engagement Manager, you will be own frontier AI lab customer relationships, directly overseeing ongoing projects, driving new demand generation, and working cross-functionally with Operations, ML, Engineering, Finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of Scale’s GenAI products and services. Essentially you are the bridge connecting customer success with how Scale's operations and product teams execute and deliver.

The ideal candidate is organized, execution-focused, and thrives on managing complexity. Precision across tracking, documentation, and customer follow-through builds the trust that earns Scale more work.

You will:

  • Own end-to-end account management for assigned customer work, from opportunity scoping to project kickoff through completion.
  • Manage customer communications, action items, and follow-ups across multiple concurrent projects. 
  • Act as a consultative thought partner to Scale’s customers, shaping customer needs into defined project delivery outcomes. 
  • Monitor delivery attainment against customer throughput and quality standards, proactively identifying risks and escalating blockers with proposed solutions
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and planning teams to improve delivery efficiency and drive better outcomes for customers

Ideally you'd have:

  • 3+ years of work experience in consulting, technical program management, or project management.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B client-facing roles.
  • Work experience in a high-growth company environment, working cross-functionally and wearing multiple hats.
  • A technical background (education or professional experience with CS, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, or another STEM field)
  • Ability to understand the ML training lifecycle and discuss use cases meaningfully with technical customers
