Description

Clueso is hiring a Frontend-Heavy Full Stack Engineer to own our Articles and SOP creation product — and help define how AI-powered documentation is created, edited, and maintained at scale.

This is a foundational role for someone who loves building complex user-facing systems, shaping product direction, and shipping polished experiences fast.

You’ll work closely with the founders and design team to own how companies create, edit, and publish help articles, SOPs, and internal documentation using AI. Our Articles product is not a simple text editor — it’s a rich, structured, AI-assisted authoring system that needs to feel fast, intuitive, and production-grade.

If you’ve built serious editors before and want full ownership of one, this role is for you.

What You’ll Own

  • The Articles Editor (End-to-End)
Own SOP and article creation from blank page → AI-assisted drafting → branded, publish-ready content.

  • Rich Text & Document Systems
Deep ownership of our TipTap / ProseMirror editor: schemas, extensions, plugins, performance, and long-term extensibility.

  • AI-Native Editing Workflows
Design how AI lives inside the editor — rewriting sections, expanding steps, structuring content, and applying formatting intelligently.

  • Templates & Branding Systems
Build reusable, branded templates and content blocks that scale across customers without custom logic.

  • Frontend-First, Full-Stack Features
While frontend is your core focus, you’ll own features end-to-end — collaborating on APIs, data models, and backend tradeoffs where needed.

  • Editor UX & Interaction Design: Own interaction patterns, workflows, and micro-UX details inside the editor — ensuring complex functionality feels intuitive and fast.

You’ll LOVE This Role If You…

  • Want ownership of a core product surface, not just UI tickets

  • Enjoy building complex editors and content tools where details matter

  • Like complex frontend products that extend beyond React

  • Care deeply about UX and take pride in making complex tools feel simple

  • Like shaping what gets built, not just how it’s built

  • Are excited about AI as a product primitive — but skeptical enough to use it thoughtfully

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience building production web applications (or equivalent proof of work)

  • Strong frontend fundamentals with React and modern state management

  • Hands-on experience with TipTap or ProseMirror

    • You’ve worked with schemas, nodes, marks, plugins, and editor state

  • Proven product ownership:

    • You’ve taken features or products from early versions to real users

  • Comfortable working full stack when needed (APIs, data models, backend constraints)

  • Strong communication skills — you’ll collaborate closely with design, product, and founders

  • Genuine interest in the product we’re building

Bonus (Nice to Have)

  • Experience building editors, design tools, or Notion-like products

  • Prior work on AI-powered user experiences

  • Familiarity with versioning, collaboration, or document history systems

  • Startup or early-stage product experience

Why Join Clueso

  • Loved product, proven traction: #1 Product of the Month on Product Hunt, 4.9 rating on G2, and fast-growing adoption across product, marketing, and L&D teams.

  • Hard, meaningful problems: Rich editors, AI-native UX, and systems that need to scale cleanly — not CRUD work.

  • Real ownership: You’ll own a core product area with direct founder collaboration.

  • Tight-knit, top-tier team: Small, highly driven team backed by YC.

  • Catered meals: Lunch and dinner (Mon-Fri) provided every day.

  • Epic offsites: Our last offsite was in Vietnam — and most of us ranked it the best trip of our lives.

If you’re a frontend-leaning engineer who wants real product ownership, real complexity, and real impact, we’d love to meet you.
