The Opportunity
Eve is growing fast, and we’re building the financial infrastructure to match. We’re hiring a Strategic Finance Manager to work on some of Eve’s most pressing business problems. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between Finance and the rest of the company — owning core financial infrastructure, driving planning and analysis, and partnering directly with leaders across every function. No two weeks will look the same. You’ll get substantial visibility, work on the highest-priority issues in the business, and be plugged into every facet of how Eve operates and grows. This is a generalist, operator-first role for someone who thrives on ownership. This role reports to the Director of Strategic Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously improve the company-wide financial model — maintaining accuracy, incorporating actuals, and evolving the forecast as the business scales
- Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics to monitor business performance, support growth initiatives, and provide visibility into operating performance
- Become a trusted thought partner to functional leaders and the executive team
- Example: Collaborate with Marketing leadership to build spend visibility, measure channel ROI, and connect demand generation investment to pipeline outcomes
- Experiment with AI-driven approaches to automate workflows, improve accuracy, and increase the speed and impact of the finance function
- Take on high-impact ad hoc projects that don’t fit neatly into a job description but provide outsized leverage to the business
What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)
- 3–5 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, management consulting, or private equity; high-growth SaaS experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the ability to connect metrics to the operating decisions that drive them — not just report the numbers
- Excellent financial modeling skills; able to build models from scratch, maintain rigor under pressure, and clearly explain logic to any audience
- Experience building relationships and communicating effectively with stakeholders across all levels and functions
- Naturally curious mindset — you ask why the number moved, not just what it is
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or another STEM field
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior marketing finance experience, including familiarity with demand generation economics, channel ROI, and spend efficiency analysis
- Experience using modern FP&A software (e.g., Pigment, Aleph) and/or modern data and BI tools (e.g., Hex, Omni)
