About the Team / Role

Reporting into the COO, the VP of Revenue Operations is a critical driver of Checkr's growth strategy. This leader owns the full GTM engine — spanning enterprise, commercial, channel, and self-serve — and is accountable for the systems, frameworks, and operational discipline Checkr needs to scale.

This is a builder's role. The right person is an exceptional people leader who can attract, develop, and inspire a high-performing team — and who is actively shaping how that team works through AI. You will partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations to deliver on our go-to-market strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and scale a high-performing Revenue Operations organization — owning Analytics, Enablement, and GTM Systems, and serving as a strategic partner to GTM leaders across new logo acquisition and existing customer management.
  • Build and lead an AI-forward team — establish an AI-first operating standard for RevOps at Checkr, where the team leads with AI to work faster, think bigger, and focus on what drives growth.
  • Drive growth across all GTM segments — understand the business deeply and identify levers to accelerate performance across new logo acquisition and existing customer management.
  • Own business planning, forecasting, and analytics — establish a rigorous analytical framework and cadence that gives the Revenue organization visibility, accountability, and confidence in its performance.
  • Own Enablement strategy and execution — equip GTM teams with the tools, training, and playbooks they need to perform at their best, and ensure that every new initiative lands effectively in the field.
  • Design the future state — define the roadmap for what Checkr needs to invest in now to support growth in the years ahead, and drive execution against the initiatives that will unlock that scale.
  • Partner with C-Suite and EStaff — shape go-to-market strategy, align on scaling priorities, and influence resource and investment decisions across the organization.

What You Bring

  • Exceptional leadership and people instincts — you build teams people want to be on. You develop talent, set a high bar, and create the conditions for a team to do its best work.
  • AI fluency and a builder's mindset — you are actively using AI tools in your own work today and have a clear point of view on how they change what's possible in RevOps. You don't wait to be asked to modernize — you lead it.
  • Proven GTM Operations leadership at scale — you have led a RevOps or GTM Strategy & Operations team of 25+ at a 500+ person company, with late-stage experience (Series D/E or post-IPO) in the last five years.
  • Deep quantitative instincts — you are highly analytical, own the numbers, challenge assumptions, and hold teams accountable to metrics that matter.
  • Executive presence and cross-functional influence — you interface directly with C-Suite, challenge up when needed, align across functions, and earn credibility through clarity and follow-through.
  • Bias for action — you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.
