About the Role
ARX Robotics is looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead engineering projects from the initial request through testing, operational handover, and closure. You’ll help deliver modifications to unmanned ground systems, integrate modules and payloads, and turn feedback from the field into practical engineering work.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Service, Customer Operations and Supply Chain. You’ll bring clarity to technically complex projects, identify risks early, and help teams make informed decisions. You’ll need enough technical fluency to plan with engineers, challenge estimates constructively, and keep delivery progress visible.
What You'll Build
- End-to-end project plans for engineering work, from initiation through testing, service handover, and closure.
- Clear work breakdowns in Jira, including dependencies, critical paths, and decision points.
- Realistic schedules that account for technical uncertainty, integration effort, testing, and opportunities to run work in parallel.
- Risk plans for integration challenges, test outcomes, and long-lead components, with contingencies identified early.
- Strong coordination across Engineering, Service, Supply Chain, and other teams, with clear owners and handovers.
- Test plans, acceptance criteria, documented results, and go/no-go recommendations.
- Service-ready handovers, including documentation, instructions, and training for service engineers.
- Structured workstreams from engineering escalations that require investigation or a technical solution.
- Clear change management that records scope or technical decisions and assesses their impact on timelines and resources.
- Reliable project documentation and concise status reporting that gives stakeholders a clear view of progress, risks, and decisions
What You Bring
- 4+ years of project management experience, including at least 1 year leading engineering projects involving physical products such as hardware, hardware and software, machinery, robotics, or automotive systems.
- Experience breaking down technical work, building plans with critical paths, and developing realistic estimates with engineering teams.
- Practical risk management skills, including identifying uncertainty early and defining response plans.
- The ability to communicate effectively with engineers on technical topics and with leaders on timelines, risks, and decisions.
- Confidence delivering projects amid uncertainty, changing priorities, and supply dependencies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira, including project structures, filters, and dashboards, as well as Google Sheets or Excel.
- Experience organizing testing, acceptance, and operational or service handovers.
- Fluency in Ukrainian and English at B2 level or above, including the ability to work with technical documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
- Experience in MilTech or defense, automotive, aerospace, or heavy equipment is a plus. Experience with unmanned ground vehicles, UAVs, or other uncrewed systems is also valuable.
Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
What We Offer
