Backend Engineer

About the Role

Join a small engineering team building AI-powered operations software for private markets. You will own core backend infrastructure that supports reliable, secure workflows across hosted and self-hosted deployments.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend systems for permissions, auditability, traceability, and observability.

• Manage deployment architectures for hosted and self-hosted environments using infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Improve the reliability, performance, and security of production services.

• Partner with product teams to deliver features while maintaining high quality standards.

• Apply AI-native development practices to support rapid, high-quality releases.

What We're Looking For

• 1 to 6 years of professional backend development experience.

• Production experience building services with TypeScript and NestJS.

• Production experience with PostgreSQL and Prisma.

• Experience managing deployments with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.

• Practical experience improving production reliability, security, performance, observability, or auditability.

• Practical experience with AI, machine learning, LLMs, or AI-native systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
