About the Role
Join an early engineering team building an AI-powered integration platform for real-economy businesses. You will own core systems across the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime, working closely with the founders and helping shape the technical foundation for future engineers.
What You'll Do
Build and own production systems end-to-end across agent orchestration, infrastructure, and the integrations runtime.
Develop reliable systems for durable execution, self-healing integrations, and a knowledge base that improves with use.
Set engineering patterns and foundations that support the team as it grows.
Work directly with the founders, ship to production frequently, and shape the overall system.
What We're Looking For
Two to nine years of professional software engineering experience, with repeated ownership of production systems from development through operation.
Experience across agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes, with strong judgment about production quality while using AI coding agents.
Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS.
A completed or in-progress engineering, computer science, or quantitative degree from a top technical university.
Startup experience as a founder whose company raised outside funding or hired a full-time employee, or as an engineer at a venture-backed pre-seed through Series A startup. Your experience should include early-stage technology work, not solely large-company, enterprise, consulting, agency, or non-tech roles.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available when an O-1 visa is a realistic option.
Location
On-site, five days a week in San Francisco, California. US-based candidates relocating to San Francisco should have a concrete, dated relocation plan.
