Hack Sprint is a 24-hour, in-person hackathon powered by Manipal University, taking place at the Manipal Bengaluru campus on 17–18 October 2026.

But the journey starts before the main event.

Online Screening Round

Participants will first take part in an online screening round conducted through Commudle. This round will determine the teams that move forward to the in-person hackathon.

The online screening round will run until 5 October 2026. Teams will submit their ideas/projects and complete the required screening steps through Commudle.

Official registration for Hack Sprint is through Commudle. Joining this Devpost page does not constitute official registration.

Shortlisted Teams

Teams shortlisted through the screening round will be invited to the in-person Hack Sprint at the Manipal Bengaluru campus.

On 17 October at 10:30 AM, the problem statements will be revealed and the 24-hour build begins.

Teams will then have 24 hours to turn their ideas into working, demo-ready solutions, with mentor support and multiple review rounds throughout the event.

The in-person hackathon will conclude with final judging, team presentations, and the awards ceremony on 18 October 2026.

Requirements

What to Build

Hack Sprint begins with an online selection round conducted through Commudle.

Participants will register and select their track, where teams will be evaluated based on their idea/project submission.

The online round will run until 5 October 2026. Further details regarding the submission format, evaluation process, and requirements for the online round will be provided through the official Commudle registration page.

Teams shortlisted through the online selection round will be invited to the in-person 24-hour Hack Sprint at the MAHE Bengaluru campus on 17–18 October 2026.

During the in-person hackathon, the problem statements will be revealed at 10:30 AM on 17 October 2026, and shortlisted teams will build their solutions during the hackathon.

What to Submit For the Online Selection Round

Official registration and submissions for the online selection round will be handled through Commudle.

To participate:

  1. Complete your official Hack Sprint registration on Commudle.
  2. Submit your idea/project and required details through the Commudle platform before the online-round deadline.
  3. Complete your team formation and other required selection steps as instructed by the organizers.

The online selection round closes on 5 October 2026.

For Shortlisted Teams

Teams selected for the in-person hackathon will receive further instructions regarding the final hackathon submission.

During the in-person event, teams will have 24 hours to build a working, demo-ready solution based on the problem statement revealed at the Hack Sprint kickoff.
