About

A 15-Day AI Agent Hackathon by Caspian | Inference Partner: Featherless.ai

Your agent can think. It just can't reach anyone.

Every agent you've built sits in a chat window waiting for you to come to it. It can't email a customer. It can't ping you on Telegram when something is urgent. It can think, and it has no hands.

Caspian fixes that. You install it, and your agent gets one identity across email, Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp and every other channel humans actually use. One handler, every channel. Your agent emails your customers. It follows up on Slack. It texts you when it needs you. You stay the author. It finally has hands.

Now we want to see what you do with that.

Every integration we support is listed at https://www.trycaspianai.com/docs/

The Brief

Build any AI agent you want. Any domain, any problem. We're not going to tell you what to build.

One rule makes it qualify: your agent must use caspian-sdk and run on at least two supported channels.

That's the entire brief.

If you want a starting point, build the agent you actually want running. One that reads your email and pings you on Telegram about the one that matters. One that texts you when CI breaks. Build it, run it for real, and tell us where it hurt.

Format

Fully online. 15 days.

Submission
  1. Public GitHub repository
  2. Demo video

Inference Partner

Featherless.ai is our inference partner. Every participant gets a $25 Featherless

plan free for the hackathon, so you have inference to build on without paying for

tokens.

Judging

One criterion: the most creative use case that actually works.

We care about creativity far more than polish. A rough agent doing something nobody thought of beats a beautiful one doing the obvious.

But it has to actually run. If the demo is mocked, it isn't judged. Finalists may be asked to demo live.

Every team can request starter credit for paid channels during the event. Contact ayush@trycaspianai.com

Eligibility
  • Open to everyone: students.
  • Team size 1 to 2. Solo entries welcome
  • No prior experience with Caspian required
  • One submission per team
Rules
  1. All code must be written during the 15-day window. Existing open-source libraries and frameworks are fine, and encouraged
  2. Your repository must be public at final submission
  3. AI coding assistants are allowed
  4. The agent must run on at least two channels through a single handler. Duplicating your handler per channel doesn't count
  5. Judges' decisions are final
Getting Started

Caspian is fully open source. Everything you need to compete is free. A GitHub star would be really appreciated.
