About Vidhyarthi Sewa EduHack Karnataka 2026

EduHack Karnataka 2026 is a state-level Education Innovation Hackathon designed to bring together creative and future-ready minds to solve real-world challenges in higher education.

The hackathon aims to encourage innovation, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving among students while creating a platform for aspiring MBA and MCA students to connect with leading educational institutions, industry experts, and mentors.

Participants will work in teams to develop innovative ideas, business models, digital solutions, or prototypes that can transform the future of education.

Objectives
  • Promote innovation in the education sector.
  • Encourage students to solve real-world educational challenges.
  • Develop leadership, teamwork, and presentation skills.
  • Connect MBA and MCA aspirants with leading colleges.
  • Identify talented students through practical problem-solving.
  • Create opportunities for scholarships, mentoring, and admissions.

Hackathon Themes

Participants may choose any ONE of the following challenge statements.

Challenge 1 AI in Education

How can Artificial Intelligence improve learning outcomes, teaching methods, assessments, and student engagement?

Challenge 2 Future Classroom

Design the classroom of 2035 using emerging technologies and innovative teaching methods.

Challenge 3 Student Mental Health

Develop innovative solutions to improve student well-being, counselling, stress management, and emotional support.

Challenge 4 Smart Campus

Create ideas that make educational institutions smarter, safer, more efficient, and digitally connected.

Challenge 5 Career Readiness

Bridge the gap between academics and industry by improving employability, internships, and skill development.

Challenge 6 Digital Learning

Reimagine online and hybrid learning experiences through technology, accessibility, and engagement.

Challenge 7 Inclusive Education

Design solutions that make higher education accessible and inclusive for students from diverse backgrounds and abilities.

Challenge 8 Green Campus

Promote sustainability by proposing eco-friendly initiatives for educational institutions.

Challenge 9 Student Engagement

Create innovative ways to increase student participation in academics, clubs, events, leadership activities, and campus life.

Challenge 10 Admissions Experience

Redesign the college admission journey to make it simpler, transparent, student-friendly, and technology-driven.

Deliverables

Each team must submit:

  • Problem Statement
  • Proposed Solution
  • Business or Technical Approach
  • Prototype, Wireframe, or Concept (if applicable)
  • Presentation (Maximum 10 Slides)
  • Five-minute Final Pitch
