What This Role Is…

As a Content Studio Stylist, the primary function of the role is planning, preparing, and executing the visual styling of product sets for photography and video content. This role organizes and maintains styling assets, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures sets are visually consistent with brand standards to support the Marketing Content Studio at CITY Furniture. The partners with Creative and Merchandising teams to ensure the visual representation of products reflects the brand vision and marketing goals. You’ll play a key role in bringing our brand to life through visual storytelling across photo and video content. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Creative department at CITY Furniture.

What You’ll Do*…

As the Content Studio Stylist, your primary responsibilities will be:

● Styling for Photo/Video Shoots - Style furniture vignettes and product-focused scenes for both

environmental photography and PDP video shoots, following creative direction and brand guidelines. (50%)

● Styling Inventory Management - Pull, return, and maintain props and decor used in shoots. Help organize

and track the styling inventory to ensure availability and efficiency. (20%)

● Shoot Prep and Breakdown - Assist in preparing sets before shoots, including selecting and staging

items. Support post-shoot breakdown, ensuring items are returned to proper storage. (20%)

● On-Set Collaboration - Work closely with Photographers, Art Directors, and the Styling Supervisor to

make real-time adjustments and enhancements to styled scenes during shoots. (10%)

Additional duties and responsibilities as a Content Studio Stylist:

● Take part in daily team check-ins, stylist syncs, and cross-functional updates. ● Adheres to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role. Document new

standard.

  • Additional duties may be assigned as needed, beyond those listed in the responsibilities. Changing business conditions may trigger changes to job responsibilities (i.e., COVID-19).

What’s Required…

Education & Work Experience:

High School diploma required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, or related field preferred. 2+ years of styling, visual merchandising, or studio production experience preferred

Work Environment & Schedule: o Monday through Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM o Occasional off-site shoots may require longer hours based on business needs o Less than 10% of Travel, to off-site shoots o


Physical Requirements:

Prolonged standing Lifting up to 20 lbs.


Technology Requirements:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.) Google Suite (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)


Certifications / Licenses

Valid Driver’s license
