Role Overview
As Sales Account Manager, you will own the full sales cycle across USA markets. This is a high-ownership, quota-carrying role: you will prospect, close, and grow accounts across enterprise, mid-market, and agency segments for a product reshaping how the world thinks about search and brand visibility. You will be the face of OptimizeGEO in-region — localizing our story for clients and building our footprint from the ground up.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
• Pipeline & Revenue: Build a qualified pipeline and consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
• Market Entry: Establish OptimizeGEO presence Globally.
• Retention & Expansion: Renew, upsell, and cross-sell across your account portfolio with a strong net-retention rate.
• Localization: Adapt messaging, collateral, and outreach for different marketing teams and agencies globally.
• Advocacy: Land reference clients, case studies, and testimonials that prove ROI in the market.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the full sales cycle — prospecting, discovery, demo, negotiation, and close.
• Develop the target market: localize outreach, build regional pipeline, and identify key verticals and partners.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of accounts through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
• Run compelling product demos that connect GEO and SEO visibility directly to client ROI.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver reliable forecasts (HubSpot).
• Partner with Customer Success and Marketing on smooth handoffs, regional campaigns, and messaging.
• Stay current on SEO, GEO, and AI-search developments to advise clients as a trusted expert.
• Represent OptimizeGEO at regional events, webinars, and industry conversations.
What We're Looking For
Experience
• 3–6 years in B2B SaaS sales or account management, ideally in MarTech, SEO, analytics, or digital marketing.
• Proven track record of quota attainment and full-cycle closing.
• Experience selling into or managing accounts in USA and Global.
Technical & Domain Knowledge
• SEO fundamentals: Strong understanding of SEO like keywords, rankings, SERPs, technical SEO, and content strategy.
• GEO & AI search: Familiarity with Generative Engine Optimization and AI search across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude.
• Analytics: Working knowledge of GA4 and Google Search Console, and how visibility maps to traffic and revenue.
• Storytelling with data: Ability to translate SEO/GEO insights into clear ROI narratives for marketers and growth teams.
• Sales stack: Comfortable with CRM and outreach tooling - HubSpot, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Core Competencies
• Communication: Consultative, credible, and persuasive across written and verbal communication.
• Ownership: High initiative, low ego — you follow through and thrive in ambiguity.
• Commercial acumen: Understand pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and lifetime value.
Nice to Have
• Background on both the agency side and SaaS side of digital marketing.
• An existing network within the Mexican or LATAM marketing and agency ecosystem
• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English
• Hands-on experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini in a professional context.
