About the role
Sunbrella.com is a core channel for our brand, and we’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to run its day-to-day development. You’ll work closely with our developers, internal stakeholders, and external CRO and SEO agencies, turning priorities into well-scoped work and shipping it reliably on Adobe Commerce.
This is a good fit if you like owning the process end to end, can talk to engineers and marketers with equal ease, and can work independently in a fast-growing environment.
What you’ll do
Plan and deliver
- Run weekly standups and remove blockers quickly
- Groom and prioritize the backlog with stakeholders
- Break epics into stories, tasks, and bugs, and help estimate them so others can plan
- Plan sprints, track velocity, and keep Jira accurate so status is never a surprise
- Manage scope and change requests, reviewing scope and estimates with stakeholders and developers
Release and operate
- Manage the path from dev to staging to production
- Monitor performance and stability around launches, and lead post-incident reviews when something breaks
- Track technical debt, patch and security update schedules, and version upgrade planning
Communicate and coordinate
- Give stakeholders status updates in plain, useful language
- Manage relationships and requests from external CRO and SEO agencies
- Triage incoming bugs, content maintenance requests, project requests, and user feedback
- Coordinate with other project managers to ensure marketing is providing content, assets, and requirements accurately and on time
What you bring
Required
- Strong English proficiency, both written and spoken
- 3+ years of enterprise e-commerce experience, preferably on Adobe Commerce/Magento (Shopify experience also considered)
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Strong grasp of the software development lifecycle and agile delivery, including working alongside developers, marketers, and designers
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, enough to troubleshoot and challenge estimates
- Proficiency with Jira and documentation tools
- Experience writing technical documentation
- Experience with SEO and CRO best practices and managing outside agencies
Nice to have
- Deep Google Analytics and Tag Manager knowledge
- Familiarity with content management systems
- Contract
